Had a blast this weekend. Creative Scrappers is celebrating their 1st Birthday with a lot of challenges from April 19 to May 3 and so I decided to join.
The first challenge is the "Sweet and Simple" Challenge where we were allowed only to use one photo and one paper using this Sketch
Next, I joined the 3 picture challenge, again using a Sketch. Here's my take:
Third is their "Paint it" Challenge. For this challenge, you have to create a background on plain CS using paint. glimmer mist can be used. So for my page, I painted a bubble wrap with yellow MM paint and stamped it on a black CS. OOOh I loved the final outcome of this page.
Fourth LO, Yup it's my 4th in 2 days! I joined the No picture Challenge. I decided to put in the layout the pregnancy test strip of ny 2nd Child. This way I also cover my backlog LOS for my DD's Album. LOL!
Last Saturday, ScrappinKids also had a weekend challenge. I was only able to do two of their challenges. First, is Michelle's What is love Challenge. We were ask to ask our Kid what love is to them and scrap their 1st reply. Here's what my 4 yr old DS said:“Ikaw Mommy”. “I love you di ba? Like sa Mcdo – LOVE KO ‘TO!And here's my page:
I’m glad my son associates me with love. It’s the best gift a mother can get from her child. I hope and pray that he also learns to impart love and care to others.
For this layout, I used the sketch from Creative Scrapper's Button Challenge.
Aniza's Challenge was to scrap our kid's favorite food. Here's my entry:
That's it! Simply had a blast this weekend!

New Scrapbooking Style?
Well, I Hope so. I have always been a clean and simple scrapper. However, since I started making girl pages, I've been experimenting on making "Shabby Chic" LOS. Gosh! its really quite a challenge! Hopefully in time I'll get the hang of it. Here's my attempt:
Next Experiment is to try to make LOS with White space and few embellies. A challenge at Creative Scrappers gave me this opportunity. It's the Sweet and Simple Challenge where in you are allowed to use only one paper and one photo. Here's my take:

McDo Kiddie Crew Workshop And my Method Playground Entry
It's summer and I can already feel the temperature rising. I think even the kids can feel it too coz they get kind of restless and bored lately. So to relieve them of their boredom Chix and I enrolled Julia and Gian to the Mcdonald's Kiddie Crew Workshop. It's a 5 day workshop where the kids are taught arts and crafts, and how to serve at the Mcdo Counter as a Kiddie Crew.
Today after they served drinks and burgers to costumers, they did their first project. Chix and I naman did some scrapping too while waiting for them to finish! Yup! Scrapping at McDo! Chix did a Disney Layout while I did my entry for Method Playground.
I've been hopping recently to Method playground and I have been having a blast looking at the LOS of their DT's. It's also been quite a while that I've been contemplating on joining their challenges but never had time to make one until today. This week's challenge is to use more than one frame, but less than one hundred, in your layout. You can put them where you want; they can be big or small; in any material: plastic, cardstock, magic mesh, up to you !
Here's my entry:
This Picture of my son Gian was taken during their School's Open House where we parents were allowed to observe our kids at school. I caught this pose of Gian who was intently listening to his teacher.
For this page I used 3 kinds of frames: Fancy Pants round transparency frame, Hambly bronze transparency frame and WRMK Metal frame. Used also rubons from Daisy D,Hambly,Basic Grey and Autumn Leaves.
Finally, here's Gian's finished project:

Holiday Crop
Last Maundy thursday,Chiqui,Cors and I went to liezls' place to do some croppin', chika-chika and of course have salo salo over lunch which Ate Tere cooked! We had Inihaw na Tilapia, Bulanglang and Bagoong! YUUUUUMMMMY! For Merienda Cors brought Pancit and Liezl also served Halo-Halo! YUM YUM again! Looks like all I did was eat and made chika coz I was only able to finish 2 LOS that day. But I'm Happy with what I came up with...
For this page, I finally got to use my BG Mellow PPS which has been in storage since I Bought it at Last years' Scrap Jam. I had fun making the tree which I'm getting addicted to lately(If you haven't noticed in my other LOS, LOL!).Love this picture of Gian and his classmates relaxing during their field trip at Hacienda Macalauan.
Here, I used an old sketch from Creative scrappers and used Cosmo Cricket PPS.
The following day, I came up with another page. This time featuring my two kids, simply having a good time while mommy was taking photos! Just take a look at those smiles! It simply melts my heart! TFL!

Easter fun!
Yesterday marked another fun filled day for us LB Scrapaholics and our family. We had our THIRD ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT! Yup, you read it right! Its our 3rd in a row easter egg hunt! Looks like its really going to be a yearly event for us! even our kids our looking forward to this event! My son Gian even marked our desk calendar and would look at it every day just to check if its Easter already!
It was really a full day for my family. We got up at 4am to attend also our Church's annual Easter sunrise service followed by the fellowship breakfast. Then we went home to rest for a few hours then we were off to UPLB OBLATION AREA for the egg hunt.
Of course, no LB scrapaholic event takes place without the pictorials. So bago pa maging basang sisiw ang mga kids, inuna muna namin yung traditional family pictorials. Each family was assigned a color and my brood came in violet/lavander.
Even my DD Sharie joined in the fun! Walang ginawa kundi ngumiti ng ngumiti! Here's proof!
My DH Ryan and I volunteered to hide the eggs this year. We had two sets of plastic eggs. One set for the young Kids and the other set for the older kids.Gian had fun looking for the eggs and was so proud to show it me.
Now what the LB girls didn't know was that we hid a third set of eggs but used quail eggs instead. The person with the most number of eggs found wins a rak from me and the one who gets the orange egg gets a rak of ribbons again from yours truly! Sobrang na excite ata ang mga girls at tumakbo na di pa ako nagsasabi ng go!LOL!Just look at them go!
Ryan and I limited the area for them to hunt just around the 3 sq. meter area of the UP Oblation. Pero mind you nahirapan ang mga ale mag hanap! yung ibang eggs naapakan pa! LOL!
Helga and Cors tied for first place while Ytet found the orange egg and won the special rak! Finally the group pictorial!
And now for the wacky shot!
All in all it was a fun filled day of bonding with friends and Family! Looking forward to our 4th Easter Egg Hunt next year!

New Layouts to share!
Its been quite a while since I last made a post in my blog. As usual, busy with work and with other things. But despite the busy schedule, I found time to scrap a few pages which I want to share with you. Most of them were made from sketches which I'm becoming addicted to lately. LOL!
This last page entitled "Sharie's World",I made during Scrappinkid's March weekend RDT Challenges. I Joined Issa's Challenge which was to use bright colored PPS. I had these beautiful Sassafras PPS which I bought a few weeks ago and it was the right paper to use for Issa's Challenge. Luckily I won! Yipee! Its been quite a while since I won in online challenges. Thanks Issa and to the rest of the SK RDT's and DT's!
