A Birthday to Remember!

I celebrated my birthday last January 20. I'm now 42 years old! I normally don't have a party on my birthdays but since I became an LB scrapaholic, it sort of became a tradition to celebrate each of our special day with a crop party and of course to give us a reason to get together! So this year I held my birthday celebration yesterday Jan 24 at my scraproom. First part of the program was a small salo-salo of tuna pasta, Taco salad and Okoy and for dessert, my home made chocolate with cherry filling!

Next, was the opening of my present! Yes, just one! My friends decided to chip in to get me this one present. And boy did it made my day! Want to know what it is? well scroll down for the opening of my gift.....

I was so touched by the generosity and thoughtfulness of my friends that it made me cry sa sobrang tuwa!Grabe loves na loves talaga nila ako! And they each made a tag for me!Aren't they Lovely?

They said that they decided to give me the MM desktop carousel coz bagay daw dun sa new scrap room ko! Yup! You read it right. Finally I have my own SCRAPROOM! And as soon as I finish fixing my stuff, I'll be posting pictures of it! So abangan!

Third part of the celebration was of course scrappin time! We decided to scrap our christmas group picture entitled "Hatty Holidays". Here's what I came up with.

JOURNALING READS:Just another day of bonding between friends! And to add spice to the day- Hats galore, both with Christmas hats and our wacky party hats!

Lastly, No crop party is complete without another group picture! Thank you to my brother-in-law Gee who took the picture and thanks to Issa who edited them.

At may bonus pa! Issa Took pictures of my daughter Shanead and sent it thru email. They were so lovely that I couldn't resist posting it!

All in All, It was an afternoon well spent among friends, doing the things that all of us love! What a Happy Birthday!

This Christmas, we opted to spend it here in our new home in Bay, Laguna. So instead of our annual trip to cebu to visit my relatives, this time they came to laguna. Its the first time for my nephew and nieces to visit so we decided to give them a tour to tagaytay!

SHANEAD BAPTISM AND HOUSE BLESSING

We decided also to do Shanead's Baptism and house blessing Last December 28 while my relatives were still here. And who were the Ninangs? Who else but the LB Scrapaholic Ladies! Here's some pictures of the said event.
