Went over at Scrap It Lah"s Site and saw their August Challenge given by my Idol Iris Uy! She wants us to have "three things in our layout... stamping, embossing, and misting. Plus there must be at least one raw chipboard to dress up". Ever since I went to Iris' Classes I'm always awed by the different techniques that she uses in her layout. So this challenge is really going to be fun. Here's what I came up with:
Here are a few closeup photos of the techniques I did.
Did some stamping and for the embossing, I first stamped the lamp post on white cardstock using a clear ebossing ink the applied black embossing powder, then I cut it out. For the raw chipboard, I used one of my "Dusty Attic" Fence chipies and applied copper dabber paint then put patches of citrus dabber.
Did some misting ang masking too!

Its been quite some time since I joined the "LETS GET SHABBY" monthly challenge. For this month, its TOILE AND TICKING! I fell in love with the Creations made by the DT's so I thought I'd give it a try. So I went through my stash and saw two papers that I hope would meet the criteria.

First Glimpse of You!
Found time last week to do a couple of layouts and I couldn't resist the challenge over at SCRAP THAT BABY! Their challenge this month is to scrap Ultrasound pictures of our babies. This challenge is simply perfect because I haven't scrapped the 4D ultrasound of my DD.

Denim And Lace Challenge at Let's Get Shabby!
I've been busy lately with work that I rarely can scrap or join challenges anymore. But when I went blog hopping a few weeks ago, I saw a couple of challenges that I couldn't resist! One of it is the 'DENIM AND LACE' Challenge over at LGS! Here's what I came up with:
="
I used the Pink Paislee resist front Patterned paper as my base and did some distressing! I'm becoming a fan lately of using distress ink and doing resist stamping and I'm loving it! I also used denim as a frame for my picture as well as used it as a strip together with a lace at the right upper corner of my page. Added pre-made denim flowers also to my cluster of Prima flowers!TFL!
