First Glimpse of You!

Found time last week to do a couple of layouts and I couldn't resist the challenge over at SCRAP THAT BABY! Their challenge this month is to scrap Ultrasound pictures of our babies. This challenge is simply perfect because I haven't scrapped the 4D ultrasound of my DD.

Well, Here's my Entry using MME Papers! TFL!

Denim And Lace Challenge at Let's Get Shabby!

I've been busy lately with work that I rarely can scrap or join challenges anymore. But when I went blog hopping a few weeks ago, I saw a couple of challenges that I couldn't resist! One of it is the 'DENIM AND LACE' Challenge over at LGS! Here's what I came up with:

="

I used the Pink Paislee resist front Patterned paper as my base and did some distressing! I'm becoming a fan lately of using distress ink and doing resist stamping and I'm loving it! I also used denim as a frame for my picture as well as used it as a strip together with a lace at the right upper corner of my page. Added pre-made denim flowers also to my cluster of Prima flowers!TFL!

Sweet Girl - Let's Get Shabby Challenge 16!

Ever since I gave birth to my DD I kind of experimented on doing shabby chic layouts and totally loved it! So when I found this new site called LET'S GET SHABBY I was amazed by the beautiful work of their DT's! And they have challenges Too! So I thought I'd give it a try....

Challenge 16 is first to choose one of two kitchens then use 3 of the colors in that kitchen as the dominant colors in the layout and also you have to use 1 fabric and 2 diecut shapes. I chose Kitchen 2 and here's what I came up with! TFL!

Kitchen No. 2

Chose the colors light pink, Dark Pink and green as my dominant colors for this page. Did some stamping too. I recently bought this Dusty Attic Laser chicken wire chipboard and I didn't want to use it only for 1 layout. So what I did was I used it as a stamp using brown paint. And it turned out great! LOL! For the diecut shapes, I used 2 sizes of butteflies.

For the fabric, I first sprayed it with pink shimmerz mist then placed twigs, flowers and stamen at the center and rolled it up forming a bouquet. This by the way was inspired by one tutorial that Master Iris Babao Uy did! Thanks Iris!

Here are some close ups of my layout!

Materials used:
Papers- Shabby Green Door for the base and my scraps from Prima, Websters Pages, green CS
Flowers- Prima
Daisy D's Journaling cards
Chipboards- All about Scrapbooking, Dusty attic (as stamp)
Local lace ribbon and fabric
