In the mood for Challenges!
It's been a few months since my last post. Been sooo busy during the holidays and when january came, it's back to work (para mabawi gastos during the holidays! LOL!). Anyways, 2010seems to be a good start for my scrapbooking passion. Did about 10 layouts last month. To keep me in the mood to scrap, I decided to join a couple of challenges.
First, is the Scrap the girls sketch challenge:Here;s my take.

Next stop is the ACOT "Black and white challenge. For these contest you need to create a layout or craft (no cards please) using ONLY the colors BLACK AND WHITE!!Boy was this a challenge! Never did a page using black and white colors only! Here's what I came up with.

For february I joined 3 challenges so far.
First: About me challenge by "Scrapbooks by design" .The challenge is to create an original layout that features one picture of you, and only you. Include journaling about yourself and some ribbon. I used my fave Webster's pages PPS for this challenge.

Next challenge is from Method Playground which requires us to use felt, woolen yarn or raw wool. For my layout, I used felt alpha thickers. Here's my page:

My latest creation is for mission create who gave us a mission to create a layout using 3 to 5 of the ideas from this list!
Deborah-Stitching
Jocie-Rub on's
Nicole-Curved Title
Vanessa-Paint
Frances-Red,Turquoise & White

For this page, I used 4 of the 5 concepts: red paint, rub-on, stitching and red, Turquoise and white!
That's all for now! I'm off to join another challenge! TFL!

Sharie Just turned One!

Oh how time flies! It wasn't just too long ago when I gave birth to my second child Sharie. And now, she just turned one last friday November 6! I had a blast preparing for her party. Decided to make the give aways myself with the help of my mom and tita Meg.We sort of had an assembly line like in factories! LOL! I also made a cake decor from round chipboard boxes and altered it, and put Sharie's pictures from 1month old to 1 year.I also placed it on a rotating tray so visitors can just turn it to view Sharie's pictures. here's what I came up with:

Decided also not to use the common pink motif for little girls and instead added orange and apple green to the motif!

Priceless!
Yup it's sketch time once again and I would like to share with you my take on sketch 72 at Creative Scrappers! TFL!

This is a very simple layout yet I love the final outcome. No pps were used. just black and white card stock and a metal frame from MM. Used my lace border puncher for added look. No journaling too coz my title and pics speaks for itself. Again TFL!

Beautiful!
Made this layout for Creative Scrappers Sketch No.70. I finally had the chance to use my Websters Pages PPS. I had fun cutting the gorgeous flower designs including the bird cage which is just soooo beautiful! Hope you ladies like my take on the sketch! TFL!
